For the one-of-a-kind showcase Karsten vs. Mondo, Weltklasse Zürich created a spectacular head-to-head between two world record holders: pole vault world champion Mondo Duplantis took on sprint and hurdles star Karsten Warholm on a 100-metre sprint track.

Entering the stage like fighters, the athletes were welcomed by a light show, music and the energy of 2,500 fans at Stadion Letzigrund. With this innovative format, Weltklasse Zürich pushed the boundaries of athletics storytelling – combining elite performance, audience spectacle and strong media impact.
