About
The Zurich City Tunnel was officially opened on 22 May 2025 as part of Cycle Week 2025. The celebration featured a parade with around 1,500 participants passing through the tunnel, followed by a cycling festival with various attractions. The new tunnel provides a safe and direct cycling connection between districts 4 and 5, running directly beneath Zurich’s main station.
